A coffee producer in the state of Minas Gerais recently decided to invest in the growth of his business and automate the coffee bean drying process.
This coffee producer acquired a PDF 180 HDR forest disc chipper and a QL-01 wood chips and sawdust feeder for furnaces.
The goal of acquiring these equipment is to increase productivity at work and reduce production costs. To achieve these goals, this producer contacted Lippel to obtain an automation solution for their coffee bean drying system.
Now, with the forest chipper, they will be able to produce high calorific value wood chips for burning in the furnace, reducing the costs of buying firewood and allowing the furnace to be automatically fed through a wood chips and sawdust feeder.
This acquisition allowed for resource savings and increased safety in operation by eliminating the need for someone to manually operate and feed the furnace, thus reducing the chances of work accidents.
