The municipality is advancing towards sustainability with the acquisition of the Tiger 600 Waste Crusher, manufactured by Lippel. This investment is not just a step towards environmental management, but a true revolution in the way we handle discarded materials. Efficient Waste Transformation The Tiger 600 will be used to shred discarded woods, furniture scraps, and tree prunings, as well as to sort and extract metals. This technology provides an effective and ecological solution for the disposal of these materials, turning them into valuable resources. With its high shredding capacity and energy efficiency, the Tiger 600 stands out in treating large volumes of waste. The municipality will be able to convert these materials into biomass for energy generation or composting, significantly reducing the volume sent to landfills. Boosting the Circular Economy The Department of Environment highlighted that this new equipment will allow expanding solid waste management actions, strengthening circular economy practices. "The Tiger 600 Crusher will give us the ability to process large volumes of waste and reuse them in new production cycles, directly benefiting the population," he said. Additionally, the equipment will be crucial for maintaining the city's green areas, facilitating the management of waste generated by prunings and maintenance of public gardens. Materials that were previously discarded can now be reused, promoting savings and preserving natural resources. Advanced and Innovative Technology The Tiger 600 is equipped with cutting-edge technology that ensures efficiency in processing bulky and difficult-to-shred waste. Its robust structure ensures durability and low maintenance costs, making it a smart choice for the municipality. Soon, the Crusher will be in operation, reinforcing the commitment to innovation in waste management. The Tiger line also offers additional models, such as the Tiger 500 and Tiger 1300, adapting to different operational needs. Lippel: Commitment to Sustainability With over 48 years of experience, Lippel is a reference in technological solutions for urban and industrial waste treatment. The acquisition of the Tiger 600 Crusher exemplifies how the public sector is adopting innovative technologies to address environmental management challenges, aligning with principles of ecological responsibility and operational efficiency. The implementation of this new equipment promises to optimize municipal operations, generating a positive impact on the environment and improving residents' quality of life. Solutions Already Implemented The municipality already has several Lippel technologies in place, including the PRTL 1020 static trommel screen, which offers an efficient solution for classifying and accelerating organic materials into compost. This technology allows processed materials to be used internally or donated to local farmers. Additionally, two urban crushers from the PTU 300 Line assist in urban cleaning and improve logistics.
