How a city hall in São Paulo has been carrying out and managing urban pruning.

Four years ago, a municipality in the state of São Paulo, faced with the need to improve urban pruning and green waste management methods, acquired a Lippel branch Crusher, aiming to streamline and facilitate urban cleaning.
But how has this equipment been used and how did this municipality turn a need into a solution?
Since 2015, this municipality has been processing green solid waste collected in urban pruning cleaning in the city. This processing alone has already represented a great ease in waste logistics, as by shredding the branches, their initial volume is reduced by about 60% to 80%, thus reducing the need for constant movements of the collection truck to the disposal point.
But the main benefit was that through the shredding of branches, leaves, shrubs, and other green waste, even those already accumulated in the landfill, it was possible to reuse green waste, turning it into organic compost, fertilizer for the soil. This fertilizer can be applied in urban tree planting plans and also in promoting local agriculture.
But was it really a benefit and a convenience to have this branch Crusher in the municipality?
This year, we were happy to receive confirmation from the municipality that yes, so much so that the demand increased and the municipality sought to acquire a new equipment to complement the demand for the reuse of urban pruning, and we were happy to provide a Lippel equipment.
