Municipal composting carried out in Oriximiná for the benefit of schools and agricultural producers.

Recently, the municipal government of Oriximiná acquired a Lippel PTU 300 branch Crusher for the shredding and reuse of urban prunings collected in the city.

The shredded organic material will be deposited in a composting yard, where it will undergo the decomposition process, aided by machines for aeration of the material to accelerate decomposition and improve the uniformity of the produced material.

The organic compost will be used to benefit agricultural producers, schools, municipal gardens, and others, who will receive this organic fertilizer for free, thus reducing costs of purchasing artificial fertilizers and increasing soil productivity, as the organic compost enriches the soil with nutrients and is completely natural.
