A biomass plant was inaugurated in Argentina with the presence of the governor of the province, the vice president of Argentina, and other authorities. It was stated that the plant will produce renewable energy for companies in the region, which required an investment of 20 million pesos today. At the opening, it was explained that the investment can convert industrial waste, a byproduct of Quebracho processing, into a source of "green energy" with high calorific power. The company's vice president, who is responsible for the plant, said that the installation has "a processing capacity of up to 4T/h, achieving one hundred percent utilization of tannin material - a Quebracho product - in addition to generating cheaper and cleaner energy." The manager also mentioned that the company is advancing in the development of other projects related to energy crops and the extraction of essences and other forest products.
