The municipality of La Paloma, in Uruguay, acquired the first glass crushing machine in the city.
The first glass crusher is part of a strategic plan of the city council based on waste management and environmental sustainability as a fundamental pillar of its development model.
The benefits offered by the equipment are significant, such as: reducing waste volume by up to 85%, quickly and efficiently; avoiding manual and expensive processes; facilitating storage and minimizing glass transportation for recycling or disposal.
The final product can be recycled to make sidewalks, renovate houses, ceramic crafts, refractory paint, among other uses. The crusher has the capacity to process 2 tons/hour of glass.
