The municipality of Mato Grosso do Sul acquired a branch Crusher with its own resources.

To solve the problem of branches in the Municipality, the City Hall acquired a branch Crusher with its own resources. The equipment was tendered on June 29th, to process branches, trunks, and pruning waste, aiming to meet the needs of the Municipal Department of Environment. The intention of the Municipal Administration is to create an Eco Point to meet the demand for correct disposal of tree prunings carried out in the Municipality by gardeners, the City Hall pruning team, and the general population. To operate the equipment, there will be training for the Environmental Department team. The Crusher grinds branches up to 30 centimeters. According to the Secretary of Environment, the acquisition of this implement will not only assist in tree pruning but also result in organic products that can be used for fertilizers and furnaces. Accompanied by the councilors, the Secretary of Environment exhibited the equipment at Praça da República.
