Recently, Lippel delivered a forestry chipper for use in cleaning urban waste.

The model of the forestry chipper is the PFL 300 x 500, a compact and highly efficient equipment for shredding larger wood pieces, trees, or even common wood waste found in landfills.

The purpose of acquiring this equipment is to make the management of organic waste from urban pruning more economical, as well as to start recycling the material already deposited in landfills. This forestry chipper will be used to shred the waste, leaving it with a small and uniform size, which allows for significant savings in waste transportation, why?

When pruning trees, in order to avoid spending too much time cutting branches into small pieces, the branches are discarded in the truck in larger sizes, which results in a large volume in the truck and requires many trips to transport the branches to a landfill.

By chipping the branches, the resulting material leaves almost no space between them, becoming much more compact and allowing the work to continue for much longer before it is necessary to move the truck to the landfill for disposal, thus saving a lot of time and fuel.

In addition to the logistical benefit, the environmental benefit is also significant, as having uniformly sized material makes it possible to compost organic waste instead of disposing of it in landfills, reducing waste accumulation, reducing greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere, and producing a rich organic fertilizer that can be applied in gardens, plantations, and gardens in various areas of the city.
