A municipality in Rio de Janeiro recently acquired a Lippel branch Crusher with its own resources to accompany the pruning service on the streets of the locality. The equipment reduces the volume of organic matter from prunings, such as branches, leaves, and even trunks. Consequently, it reduces expenses with trucks that collect branches, generating savings for public funds.
The Secretary of Public Services emphasized that the effectiveness of the work of the department depends on the collaboration of the residents. "Not only during collective actions, but periodically, we collect tons of garbage and debris from public roads. Furniture and electronic waste cannot be indiscriminately discarded on sidewalks and vacant lots. We count on the partnership of the residents. They can contact the department to schedule the removal of the material," he explained.
The maintenance of the drainage system, also carried out on the local roads, eliminates a series of disturbances and threats to public health.
