The West Santa Catarina City Hall now has a Lippel branch Crusher.

A city in the western region of Santa Catarina acquired a Lippel Scorpion PTU 500 branch Crusher to carry out the shredding process itinerantly, already in the waste collection.

The municipality's problem was the large volume generated during pruning seasons and the difficulty in collecting and transporting materials. The SCORPION has the differential of having a crane to facilitate the feeding of bulky and heavy materials, as well as speeding up the work.

Its use in urban cleaning allows the organic waste collected in the municipality to be reused in composting, coverage, and soil fertilization, thus generating savings in the conscious use of natural resources. Now, with the machine, the reuse of waste will be done, and cooperatives and waste pickers' associations will be involved to organize selective collection.

Last year, they had already acquired a glass crusher for reusing the material in the manufacturing of pavers.
