The Municipality of Paraguay has just acquired a Branch Chipper from the PTU 300 Line. With this acquisition, the City Hall can optimize the logistics of transporting branches and prevent these residues from being deposited in landfills or burned. The equivalent of five daily truck trips with green waste to landfills is avoided with chipping. In addition to preventing the spread of pests, fires, and increasing landfill volume, the chipped green material is used for the production of organic fertilizer for the municipal nursery, community gardens, and landscaping in parks and streets.

The PTU 300 will allow more efficient service to taxpayers and citizens in general in the collection of waste consisting of accumulated branches and prunings, generating an optimization of human resources, saving time and fuel. The mayor reports that "the new branch chipper machine acquired by the city will allow a monthly savings of Gs. 3 million, in addition to helping to avoid the burning of residues, which are mostly tree remains and branches.
