Waste reuse from harvesting and palm heart preparation in São Paulo.

Recently, Lippel served a heart of palm producer in the southeast region of the state of São Paulo. The company had already found a way to reuse the green waste generated in the preparation of heart of palm for consumption, however, they needed a machine with higher production capacity to handle the waste generated.

To solve the problem of low yield in processing green material, Lippel presented a fixed industrial wood chipper, configured for processing green material, thus increasing production and reusing all organic waste generated in the production of heart of palm.

These shredded residues are used as soil cover in the heart of palm production itself, thus returning nutrients to the soil to strengthen the plantation and reduce the need for artificial fertilizers.
