Branch Crusher being tested for pruning cleanup in urban streets.

Recently, Lippel made available a Branch Crusher for a company to test their services in order to get to know the equipment and study whether it would be worth buying the equipment.

This company works with energy distribution in Rio Grande do Sul and did not have a plan for reusing the urban pruning waste that was constantly collected and discarded by the company.

The company prunes urban trees daily that are close to the power lines in order to protect the electrical wiring from damage and ruptures. The branches were cut into slightly smaller pieces and then loaded onto the truck. The collection truck would fill up several times a day, requiring them to drive to the landfill to dispose of the tree branches and then return to the work site.

This process generated high fuel costs for the truck and time for the workers.

That's when Lippel offered a branch crusher to reduce work time and enable the reuse of prunings. However, since the company did not work with this type of equipment, they initially did not see the advantage of using it. So, after an agreement, Lippel provided a Branch Crusher for the company to test for a few days, to see if it would really be worth buying the machine.

The result was that, even before the end of the first week, the supervisor had already decided to keep the equipment, as he was surprised at how much the branch crusher sped up the work and saved on logistics for disposing of the pruning waste.

"It's already the end of the day and I followed most of the collection work today. The machine is very good, much better than we expected. The team worked all day and filled the truck only once. I saw the machine working, it's very fast and it really serves us well." said the company's supervisor.

The equipment is capable of reducing the volume of raw material by up to 80%, generating significant savings in waste transportation, converting the cost of the crusher into savings and profit for the company in the short term.

Now, after purchasing the branch crusher, the company will apply the green waste to composting and then donate the organic compost (organic fertilizer) to the cities in the state, which will then apply the organic fertilizer in arborism, gardening, and agriculture projects in the municipality, promoting an improvement in the quality of life of the population and promoting environmental health.
