Recently, a wood chipper was delivered to another municipality, where it will be used in urban cleaning for the processing of organic waste and pruning residues.

This equipment will make it possible to reduce waste by up to 80%, making transportation operations much more viable and practical, as well as enabling the reuse of this organic matter.

With the wood chipper, it will be possible to reuse this material, previously discarded, to start the organic composting process. Through this process, a rich organic compost is obtained, which acts as a powerful soil fertilizer, being very advantageous also for being completely free of chemical components.

The equipment in question is the PTU 300, which, thanks to its high-efficiency cutting system and powerful diesel engine, is capable of achieving high levels of productivity with low fuel consumption.

This equipment will bring several benefits to the municipality, such as savings in waste transportation, as the shredded material will have a volume up to 80% smaller compared to non-shredded material, as well as making use of the composting process, which produces a smaller amount of polluting gases compared to the decomposition of pruning residues, and using a completely natural fertilizer for the soil.
