Baixada Santista invests in technology with the purchase of BT5500 and BT2000 beach cleaners

A public utility company in Baixada Santista, São Paulo, recently acquired a BT5500 motorized beach cleaner and a BT2000 towable beach cleaner to enhance the maintenance and cleaning of sandy areas in the region.

The BT5500 is a beach sanitation cleaner that offers superior efficiency and quality compared to manual cleaning. With a working width of 1,600 mm and coverage capacity of up to 19,000 m² per hour, the equipment quickly removes visible debris and micro-residues buried in the sand. Additionally, the BT5500 aerates the sand, promoting a healthier and more sustainable beach environment, while reducing operational costs by replacing dozens of workers with a single operator. Safety is also a key advantage, with the operator protected inside the equipment during operation.

The BT2000 is a robust cleaner designed with high-performance German technology and locally assembled, especially for small beach areas like those between beach chairs and volleyball courts. With motorized or mechanical operation and a dual screening system, it efficiently removes various residues, even in wet sand, reaching depths up to 30 cm. Its modular design allows adaptation for other uses, increasing versatility and return on investment.
