HORIZONTAL INDUSTRIAL TRIMMER
The series of Horizontal Wood Waste Grinders includes the models THR 400, 600, 800, and 1000. These grinders are perfect for grinding linear wood waste into a uniform particle.
The machine has a compact design and can be mounted on small wheels. Its horizontal feeding method allows the machine to be installed at the end of woodworking processing lines, such as MDF processing lines, among others.
The material to be ground is fed horizontally through a vibrating chute or conveyor belt, and together with the action of the pulling roller, pushes the material against the rotor, which operates at medium/low rotation speed, aiding in noise control and torque gain.
The cutting action and its result are related to the rotor with rotating blades and fixed blades that transform the material into a medium/small fraction, while the sieve ensures homogeneity and good particle size distribution with the possibility of variations in the ground material. Extractions can occur via belt or pneumatic system.
The output products can usually be sold as wood chips or sent for further processing through briquetting, etc. Yields typically range from 3 to 8 m3/h depending on the machine model, material type, sieve size, and application.
Horizontal grinders are well-known in the woodworking industry and are found in many furniture manufacturers and carpentry shops. They are ideal for grinding waste such as trims and scraps.
