In recent times, the amount of solid waste generated in municipalities and industrial areas has increased considerably. That is why there has been a growing search for solutions in the treatment of waste through recycling and energy recovery processes. This is an area of expertise for Lippel. We develop equipment for the energy recovery of solid waste, such as briquetting plants. These plants transform simple waste into briquettes with a high calorific value, which can then be used in boilers for energy production. Thanks to the recycling and reuse of solid waste, it is possible not only to have immediate savings, as the investment in this process in the short term is lower than the investment in landfills, but also in the long term, as the waste is used to generate energy instead of being simply discarded.
